Blake Holman, Chief Information Officer, St. David’s Foundation
Blake Holman is currently Chief Information Officer and HIPAA Security Officer at St. David’s Foundation in Austin, Texas, a position he has held since September, 2015. Prior to St. David’s Foundation, Blake served as Sr. Vice President and Chief Information Officer at Ryan, LLC in Dallas, Texas.
Blake has over 25 years of experience leading Information Technology Strategy, Development and Operations for several public and private companies in the Consulting, Telecommunications and Financial Services industries.
Blake holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Southern Methodist University, and a Strategic IT Management Certificate from the Scandinavian International Management Institute in Copenhagen, Denmark. Blake is currently working on a Master of Science degree in Information Security and Assurance at Western Governor’s University. Blake holds a number of industry certifications including CEH, CHFI, C-CISO, CISM and CISSP.
In 2011 and 2012, Blake’s efforts were recognized in the InformationWeek 500 listing of the most innovative business technology companies in the United States. In 2011, Ryan was ranked 130th, and in 2012, Ryan’s ranking rose to 98th. In both cases, Ryan was the highest ranked corporate tax services firm on the list.
In December 2012, Blake was named by Computerworld magazine as one of its 2013 “Premier 100 IT Leaders.” The Computerworld Premier 100 IT recognition is an international lifetime award that shines a spotlight on technology and business leaders from a broad range of organizations.
Outside the world of technology, Blake is a retired Rugby player, enjoys supporting his Rugby Club and the sport of Rugby at every available opportunity.

Dan has been married for more than 30 years and is the proud Dad of Kristina, a doctor on the Big Island of Hawaii, and Kelly, a retired Army Ranger who is now pursuing his MBA in South Florida.
Yasmin Zahra Shah, Panelist, Author of Experience: Caregiver’s Journey
Yasmin is a seasoned executive and entrepreneur with over 25 years of experience in launching, transforming and growing companies. As CIO (Chief Information Officer) for QLogic she transformed the IT department from infancy to maturity. As an executive with IBM global services she played leadership roles in developing new technology services and selling service contracts up to $100Million in revenue. As CEO of franchise hair salons, she reduced standard employee turn-over in the industry of over 200% to under 20% in less than 2 years utilizing big data. As a general manager she led business case development for a technology transformation project of three quarters of billion dollars. As an entrepreneur she developed a SAAS solutions impacting social determinants of health.
Yasmin has been leading innovative initiatives to address social determinants of health in aging population for past 10 years. She is an industry leader in hi-tech and hi-touch solutions for both aging and caregiving. Her present focus is on not only utilizing technology to propel Village Movement, which leverages the power of community to achieve society-wide change in the way we age, but also to be evangelist for technology solutions that enable Aging-in-Place.
She is an author of “Experience: Caregiver’s Journey”, a fiction, that serves as a roadmap for caregivers. This book compliments her efforts with VillageCore; a non-profit focused on helping both seniors and their caregivers. VillageCore provides online resources, coaching and is building local peer support in a Village environment.
