The inaugural SIM Foundation V.I.P Networking Reception, to be hosted at SIM Connect Live 2019 in Orlando, is a premier night for the national SIM community to gather with an exemplary group of senior leaders and give back to our communities. More than 200 SIM members from across the country are expected to be in attendance.
SIM has a long running commitment to support the needs of local communities — both financially and through volunteer efforts. This evening reception will celebrate SIM’s community giveback initiatives and impactful STEM-related programs.
The SIM Gala and VIP Networking Reception will be held in the evening on Wednesday, May 15 at the Renaissance Orlando at SeaWorld®, ahead of the first full day of programming for SIM Connect Live.
Attendees will have the opportunity to network during cocktails, participate in live and silent auctions, interact with sponsors, and listen to an outstanding keynote. This is an evening not to be missed!
Proceeds from the event will benefit FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) Robotics, a not-for-profit public charity that helps young people pursue education and career opportunities in science, technology, engineering, and math, while building self-confidence, knowledge, and life skills.
“Dean exemplifies what it means to support STEM and the youth of this country. I am glad SIM is an avid supporter of STEM and of FIRST Robotics,” said said Eric Gorham and Janis O’Bryan, Co-Chairs for the Reception.
